Seattle bursts with secret gardens and hidden gems. Kim and Jon celebrated their Seattle elopement with a ceremony at the Seattle Courthouse and photos at Volunteer Park.
Despite their wedding date falling within the winter months, we had simply spectacular weather. Volunteer Park has some truly unique backgrounds for wedding photographs. While the park is just 10 minutes from downtown, it feels as though you are miles away in a hidden forest.
Kim’s flowers were an explosion of soft blush pink flowers, orchids, and lush accents. I loved how it was a white bouquet with a pop of color! There is nothing better than finding a oasis in the middle of the bustling city. With a short dress and an adorable shawl, these two looked like a pair out of a romance story!
When the weather is nice, the old water-tower at Volunteer Park is a stunning background. With it’s rustic texture and unique coloring, it’s something out of the history books!
We just had to show off her beautiful tulle petticoat and those robin’s egg blue shoes! How cute are those!
One of my favorite details was their handmade ring box. They found an incredible box maker and had their initials burned into the finish. The little wood box swivels open to reveal a tiny area for their rings! Love it!
These two had a passion for life, and you could see their love for each other in their eyes!
